Lil Tjay is reportedly out of the hospital

Not long ago, a picture of the 21-year-old rapper surfaced on the internet in which he can be seen smiling as he is seated in a car while on a group FaceTime call with some friends.

So far, it is not clear when Lil Tjay was released from the hospital exactly. It is the first picture of the rapper since the time, he was shot several times outside a Chipotle restaurant in Edgewater, New Jersey shortly after midnight on June 22.

For those of you who are not unaware, let us tell you the Bronz-born rapper was one of the people who were shot on June 22, 2022, Wednesday. He was immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident unfolded.

At that time, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office reported that a 27-year-old man named Mohamed Konate tried to rob Tjay and his two friends, Antoine Boyd and Jeffrey Valdez, while they were seated in a Dodge Durango near the Promenade shopping center.

As per the reports, Konate was arrested by the police authorities nearly a month after the shooting incident. At the moment, he is being held in Rikers Island as he waits for extradition to New Jersey.

Mohamed Konate allegedly fired multiple shots at Tjay. The In My Head rapper was even unconscious for many days after the surgery. Konate has been charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder and the other two suspects will be facing second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon charges.

Earlier this year, Lil Tjay teased a new song titled In My Head. The track was eventually released on April 1. During the same month, he dropped a freestyle Lavish on his YouTube channel. The next day, he announced his EP Strictly 4 My Fans.
