‘Making The Cut’ is back for another season, and this time the judges are the center of attention. Audiences are eager to hear more about the Judges of Season 3, so let’s dig in.
This reality show’s third season features a new group of ten entrepreneurs and designers from all over the world who are prepared to take their emerging brands to the next level and become the next worldwide phenomenon. The series winner will receive $1 million to invest in their business as well as mentorship from Amazon Fashion.
The winner will also be able to develop an exclusive co-brand with Amazon Fashion and start up their existing brands in the Amazon Fashion store. That’s primarily a booster for the participants.
Who Are The Judges In Making The Cut Season 3?
The show’s cherished classics Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn will be accompanied on the panel of judges by Nicole Richie and Jeremy Scott.
Heidi Klum stated in an official statement, “I am excited for Making the Cut to return this summer for its third season. I was so happy to be reunited with Tim, Nicole, and Jeremy as we searched for the next great global fashion brand among our most talented group of designers yet!
This season’s fashion far exceeded our expectations and there are so many amazing looks that I cannot wait to wear myself.”
Tim Gunn then added, “After watching the success of our past designers, including winners Andrea Pitter and Jonny Cota, I’m tremendously excited for fans to see what this season’s enormously talented group of designers has in store.”
1. Jeremy Scott
Jeremy Scott is all set to make their appearance on the reality show. He is the creative director of Moschino as well as the sole owner of his own label. Scott has established a reputation as “pop culture’s most irreverent designer” and “fashion’s last rebel” since introducing his label in Paris in 1997.
Scott is also well-known for his clothing, accessory, and footwear designs for Adidas and Moschino.
2. Nicole Richie
Nicole Richie is the next judge on the panel. She is a TV personality, fashion designer, socialite, musician, and actress. She rose to prominence after appearing on the reality show The Simple Life. Richie’s personal life drew media attention during the show’s five-year run and afterward.
She is the creator of the lifestyle brand House of Harlow. You must already know, that in 2020, she became a judge on the reality competition series Making the Cut. We’re going to watch Richie again now.
Making The Cut ‘Guest’ Judges Of Season 3
Throughout the season, guest judges will also include style creator Jason Bolden, fashion TikToker and Wisdom Kaye, as well as Grammy-nominated popstars and Chloe x Halle.
1. Jason Bolden
He is an entrepreneur, creative director, fashion stylist, and interior designer known for his spotless aesthetic and refined framework for style and living. Jason is frequently called upon to reimagine images and develop unique designs for Hollywood’s most famous stars.
Bolden stated about being in this industry, “I did not decide, it kind of chose me.”
“I don’t really pay attention to what they’re wearing,” he said. “I begin to listen to them and that’s the missing link. Like fashion in general, I think we decide to enforce these laws and not really hear what the person actually wants or does not want.”
2. Wisdom Kaye
He’s a TikTok personality and model known for his fashion-related clips. As a result, Vogue calls him “TikTok’s best-dressed guy.” Kaye joined TikTok in January 2020 and blew up for his take on the “Vogue Challenge”; by July 2020, he had 2 million followers. He also became famous for designing high-fashion attire based on Marvel Cinematic Universe characters.
“If you had asked me, let’s say, my freshman year, when I was trying to find myself, I wouldn’t have told you I’d be a model years later,” Kaye says.
“But when it happened, it didn’t feel too out of place because, in a weird way, I recorded my own videos and took photos of myself. I had always been sort of modeling; when I actually got into it, it never felt too uncomfortable.”
3. Chloe x Halle
Chloe and Halle Bailey are sisters who form the R&B duo Chloe x Halle. Beyoncé, who became their role model and later signed them to her Parkwood Entertainment label, noticed the two uploading music covers on YouTube.
Chloe and Halle Bailey first became known in the music industry when they started posting YouTube covers of Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry in the early 2010s. Chloe debuted as a solo artist with her single ‘Have Mercy,’ which made headlines on TikTok and earned her a gold rating.
“It’s everything that I’ve been going through, all the tearing down, people underestimating, telling me I can’t do it—all of those things have gone into the music. The album is me picking myself up and talking myself out of any little place or space that the world has tried to put me in, that people and personal relationships have tried to put me in, and even [doing that to] myself. It’s me breaking free.”
Making The Cut will be more captivating with the addition of two mainstream personalities. What are your thoughts on this year’s judges? You are welcome to stay tuned for more updates.
